A rebrand and office move delivered as one. The agency now looks the way it actually operates.
Christie Residential is an independent Abergavenny estate agency with eighty years of experience and a deliberate position outside both the corporate chains and the personality-led Insta-agents. We rebuilt the brand so prospective clients could see that before they walked in.

The outcome
A full rebrand for Christie Residential, rolled out alongside the agency's move to a refurbished new office. The brand idea, "Your home, handled with care", now runs through every client touchpoint.
The system shows up across:
- External shop frontage and signage at the new premises
- Interior brand applications throughout the refurbished office
- Printed marketing, large-format outdoor and client-facing documents
- A complete suite of office stationery
- Social templates and website banners
- A full brand guidelines document the team uses day to day
The brand and the physical space were redesigned to land at the same moment, so clients walking into the new office for the first time meet a single, coherent experience from frontage to handover.

The challenge
The property sector is dominated by two extremes: large corporate chains and personality-led Insta-agents. Christie Residential sat deliberately outside both, but the existing brand didn't communicate that difference. New clients arrived without the context they needed to understand what made this agency different from the closest competitor on the high street.
The new brand had to:
- Feel calm, grown-up and reassuring
- Reflect eighty years of experience without feeling dated
- Communicate care without becoming soft or informal
- Work consistently across signage, print and digital
Most importantly, it had to feel honest. No hype, no overpromising.

Our approach
We treated this as a brand clarity project, not a surface refresh. The work started with strategy sessions focused on how Christie Residential actually operates day to day, and where they consciously differ from competitors.
A clear picture emerged. Christie Residential is defined by presence and follow-through. They don't disappear once an offer is agreed. They stay involved, manage complexity and support clients through every stage of the move. That understanding shaped every decision that followed.
Five strategic pillars supported the positioning:

- Care shown through consistency, not friendliness alone

- Fair, transparent ways of working
- Commitment to the full journey, from valuation to completion

Visual identity and tone
A heart-led icon formed from homes carries the "handled with care" idea quietly. A blue-led primary palette signals trust and reliability, with warm accents used sparingly for balance. Typography blends friendliness with clarity and authority. Nothing is decorative for the sake of it.
The tone of voice was treated as a core brand asset rather than an afterthought. Plain-speaking and human. Calm and supportive during stressful moments. Confident without sounding boastful. Grounded in local knowledge and experience.

Rollout alongside the office move
The rebrand and the office relocation ran in parallel, deliberately. We worked across every applied surface: external shopfront, interior, print, large-format outdoor, stationery, social templates, web banners and the full brand guidelines.
The website itself was delivered by a specialist estate agency website provider. Our work focused on brand strategy, visual identity, messaging and the physical applications.
